We use magnetic concentration techniques to process low-biomass samples, enabling the characterization of viromes as well as fungal and bacterial microbiomes. Our work involves analyzing samples from diverse environments, including polluted waters like those from the Salton Sea, and pristine sources such as thermal hot springs.
